*updated March 17th*
Back in January, I signed up to participate in the 2013 Science Fiction Romance Challenge, in which you challenge yourself to read a certain number of SFR genre books. It’s a great way to support this niche genre, find new authors and start discussions about great books you find. There are several different commitment levels:
- –The Earth Reading Challenge – Read 5 SFR novels.
- –The Moon Reading Challenge – Read 15 SFR novels.
- –The Venus Reading Challenge – Read 25 SFR novels.
- –The Jupiter Reading Challenge – Read 50 SFR novels.
Due to being in the middle of finishing Book 2 in my series and another Side Story at the time, a set my goal to a reasonable level of shooting for the Moon (15 books). To begin, I started a list over on GoodReads and began searching other people’s reading lists, blogs and Amazon to find recommended books to add to it. I am still finding new books to add to it, at a rate of almost one a day. Surprising myself, I have already devoured 12 SFR books. As of March 17th, I have now gorged myself further and have reached my 15 SFR book challenge!
So, Venus, here I come! Who knows, I may even make it to Jupiter before Christmas!
